Request An On-Site Course: Voice Over IP Our Hands-On Training courses are suit-cased to your facility and tailored to your specific requirements. BTS provides real world experience in important concepts and expand practical skills needed to advance in today's technologies (ie... Telecommunications, DataCommunications and Specific, Equipment...). Get answers to your most pressing questions and gain valuable hands-on experience by working with Subject Matter Experts in live practical, and state-of-the-art class room labs. BTS courses are limited to 10 students per course due the 1 to 10 instructor ratio, this ratio has been tested and proven over the years that the quality and retention of your learning experience will only increase. Our instructors spend personal time with the students from answering questions to configuring their test equipment. We always encourage technicians to bring their own gear to the class as a benefit for them and others, there has been times when options weren't set and the test was not in full operation for their specific testing applications, BTS is happy to help any way we can, with the experience have gained over the years and thousands of students. BTS Instructors have been in the field for over 15 - 25 years having "Real-World Experience" in these areas and still do a large amount of contract work for ROBOCS, CLECS and Independent Telephone Companies Installing, Troubleshooting and providing solutions to their complex issues they weren't able to workout in-house. Our Training courses are 75% Hands-On (we are non-vendor specific, providing an overall scope of the technology not a product sales scope) and we bring the Equipment!

Course Description:
Networking is taking an evolutionary path that will allow voice and video - real time services - to successfully exist with data on the same network. This will allow new ways for organizations to effectively communicate with increased productivity, flexibility, and lower cost. It will also give networking product developers, telecom product developers, and service providers new opportunities to expand their offerings for greater revenue.

This Hands-On 2 day course will allow participants to work with an in-class intranet infrastructure constructed with Ethernet switches and routers. Upon successfully constructing and testing the in-class Intranet, participants will observe the installation of voice and video hardware and software on PCs. Participants will test for voicevideo quality over the LAN and WAN.
